Senior police officials, including DPO Attock Sardar Moarhan Khan and Tehsildar Chaudhry Shafqat Mahmood, join lawyers in a constructive dialogue on legal reforms, security, and timely justice.
A delegation of the Fateh Jang Bar Association, led by former General Secretary Syed Wasi Shah, held an important meeting with Regional Police Officer (RPO) Rawalpindi, Babar Sarfaraz Alpa. District Police Officer (DPO) Attock, Sardar Moarhan Khan, Tehsildar Fateh Jang Chaudhry Shafqat Mahmood, and DSP Fateh Jang were also present on the occasion.
Advocates Malik Shahzad, Nazim Khan, and Malik Ishrat also attended the meeting. The discussions primarily revolved around issues faced by the legal fraternity, courtroom security concerns, and delays in the timely hearing of cases. RPO Babar Sarfaraz Alpa assured the participants that their grievances would be addressed on a priority basis, stressing that enhanced coordination between police and lawyers was crucial for strengthening the judicial system and ensuring transparency.
DPO Attock Sardar Moarhan Khan and DSP Fateh Jang reaffirmed that the police force would extend full cooperation to the legal community in resolving their professional challenges. Tehsildar Chaudhry Shafqat Mahmood underscored that stronger relations between police and lawyers were essential for upholding the rule of law and building greater public trust.
The meeting also reviewed key aspects such as courtroom security, provision of facilities for lawyers, timely case proceedings, and swift access to justice for the public. All participants agreed that mutual dialogue and cooperation were vital in ensuring a more efficient and transparent legal system.
At the conclusion, RPO Babar Sarfaraz Alpa emphasized that similar engagements would continue in the future to strengthen institutional collaboration. The participants unanimously described the meeting as productive and a positive step towards reinforcing the justice system and improving public confidence in law enforcement.
