With an unwavering commitment to enforcing the rule of law and protecting public health, Punjab’s superstar Special Price Control Magistrate Chaudhry Shafqat Mehmood carried out decisive action in Hasan Abdal, exposing those exploiting citizens through unsafe food and excessive pricing.

During the operation, the famous Mian Ji Hotel & Restaurant was inspected and found to have overpriced rates, spoiled meat, poor hygiene, dirty kitchen, rancid oil, and unsafe food items. All hazardous food products were immediately destroyed on site. The hotel owner was arrested, a case registered, and detained in custody.

Authorities emphasized that public health, safety, and fair pricing cannot be compromised under any circumstances. The magistrate made it clear that no pressure or recommendations will influence enforcement of the law.

Following complaints from citizens, the scope of the operation was extended, and action was also taken against illegal encroachments and transport mafia activities, resulting in two trucks being seized and taken to the police station.
