Islamabad (Urdu Times) DIG Islamabad Ali Wasim held a meeting with his staff. During the meeting, professional responsibilities and matters related to public service were discussed in detail.The DIG stated that we all must work together to ensure the rule of law, the protection of citizens’ lives and property, and the provision of effective and timely police services to the public. A zero-tolerance policy against corruption will be strictly enforced, and in this entire process, no one, including myself, is above the law.DIG Ali Wasim also held an open katchery (public hearing) at his office to address citizens’ issues. Later, he visited Thana Khanna, where he inspected the front desk, record room, lockups, and other sections. He met with complainants and listened to their problems.On this occasion, the DIG issued directives for proper maintenance of records, cleanliness, courteous treatment of complainants, and the resolution of their issues on a priority basis.
