Islamabad (Urdu Times) IGP Reviews Traffic Management, Operational Affairs and Public Facilitation Measures،According to the details, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi visited the Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) Headquarters. Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Islamabad Kainaat Azhar Khan and other senior police officers were also present on the occasionDuring the visit, Traffic Police officers briefed the IGP Islamabad on the overall performance of Islamabad Traffic Police, traffic management, operational affairs, enforcement of traffic laws, and facilities being provided to citizens. Various measures aimed at improving traffic flow across the city and addressing traffic-related issues faced by citizens were also reviewed.IGP Islamabad conducted a detailed review of the measures being taken by Traffic Police to maintain smooth traffic flow, ensure effective enforcement of traffic laws, prevent road accidents, and provide improved services to citizens. He also discussed ongoing measures and future strategies to make the traffic management system more organized, efficient, and aligned with modern requirements.On the occasion, IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi directed the officers to utilize all available resources effectively to improve traffic flow and provide citizens with a safe and convenient travelling environment. He emphasized the effective use of modern technology, enhanced monitoring, and advanced traffic management systems, directing that field monitoring be further strengthened to identify traffic-related issues and ensure their timely resolution.IGP Islamabad further directed that Traffic Police officers and officials maintain courteous, respectful, and professional conduct while dealing with citizens. He stressed that special attention must be given to the prompt resolution of public complaints and traffic-related issues, while ensuring the uniform and fair enforcement of traffic laws.He emphasized that enforcement of traffic laws should not be limited to fines or legal action. Public awareness initiatives regarding traffic rules and road safety should also be strengthened to promote responsible road use and prevent accidents. Preventive and proactive measures must be prioritized to ensure the safety of citizens on the roads.IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi reaffirmed that the process of reforms and modernization will continue to make the traffic system in the federal capital safer, more organized, efficient, and responsive.
