Islamabad (Urdu Times) ITP Intensifies Crackdown on Vehicles with Tinted Windows, Over 450 Challaned in One Month،According to details, following the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) continues its indiscriminate enforcement against drivers violating traffic laws. During the past month, legal action was taken against more than 450 vehicles with tinted windows.Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has deployed special teams at major and busiest roads and intersections across the federal capital to ensure effective enforcement of traffic laws. Under a zero-tolerance policy aimed at protecting citizens’ lives and preventing traffic accidents, enforcement against tinted windows and other traffic violations is being further intensified.On the occasion, Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Islamabad Kainat Azhar Khan said that violations of traffic laws can lead to serious accidents. She emphasized that cooperation between citizens and Islamabad Traffic Police is essential for establishing a safe, organized, and efficient traffic system on the city’s roads.She said that following traffic laws can protect not only your own life but also the lives of other road users. She urged citizens to act responsibly, strictly follow traffic regulations, and cooperate with Islamabad Traffic Police to ensure safer travel.CTO Islamabad further stated that Islamabad Traffic Police is utilizing all available resources to ensure equal and indiscriminate enforcement of traffic laws, provide citizens with a safe travelling environment, and maintain smooth traffic flow across the federal capital.
