Islamabad (Urdu Times) IGP Islamabad reviews administrative affairs, police welfare, and public servicesAccording to the details, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, chaired a meeting attended by DIG Headquarters Muhammad Atique Tahir, AIG Logistics Abdul Haq Umrani, and other officers.During the meeting, a detailed review was conducted of key administrative affairs across the district, ongoing welfare initiatives for police officers and officials, and the facilities and service delivery mechanisms available to citizens at police stations and police offices. The performance of various departments, administrative matters, and issues related to public facilitation were also discussed in detail. IGP Islamabad issued necessary directions to the relevant officers regarding the further enhancement of professional capabilities, improvement of administrative efficiency, promotion of community-oriented policing, and the timely provision of quality services to citizens. He emphasized that all officers should perform their duties with honesty, a strong sense of responsibility, and professionalism to further strengthen public trust in the police Later, IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi held a Khuli Kachehri under the “Open Door Policy.” On this occasion, he listened to the concerns of citizens and police officers and issued on-the-spot instructions to the relevant officers for their resolution.IGP Islamabad directed officers that the prompt resolution of citizens’ issues, in accordance with merit and the law, remains the police’s top priority. He stated that any citizen facing a police-related issue may approach the open forum without hesitation, as his doors are always open to the public.While addressing citizens’ complaints, he instructed the relevant officers to resolve applications on merit within the prescribed timeframe and submit their reports to the Central Police Office. IGP Islamabad further stated that Islamabad Police is continuously taking measures to provide better facilities and services to citizens and that the daily conduct of open forums is playing a significant role in the prompt and priority-based resolution of public issues.
