ISLAMABAD (Urdu Times) DIG Headquarters reviews construction projects, seeks progress report, and assigns new targets,,According to the details, Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Headquarters Malik Jameel Zafar chaired important meeting. The meeting was attended by AIG General Inayat Ali Shah, Director Special Initiatives Shams-ul-Haq Durrani, and in-charges of CPO branches.During the meeting, the DIG Headquarters called for a detailed progress report on various ongoing construction projects concerning police stations in Islamabad, public convenience, and police welfare. He directed that all projects be completed within the stipulated timeframe, while ensuring quality and maintaining transparency at all costs.DIG Headquarters directed officers to align under-construction police stations with modern requirements, ensure easy and improved access for citizens, and prioritize the enhancement of residential and welfare facilities for police personnel.He further directed that all officers must regularly monitor the projects, expedite the pace of work, and that no negligence or delay will be tolerated. He emphasized ensuring the effective and transparent utilization of funds and maintaining uncompromised standards of quality.DIG Headquarters also assigned new targets to the concerned officers, directing them to carry out their responsibilities with clear timelines and present significant progress in the next meeting. He stated that providing better facilities to citizens and further improving the welfare of the police force remain top priorities.
