UPDATE: Gunman kills 7 worshipers in attack on Shia Mosque in Afghan city of Herat.

Islamic State Khorasan affiliates claiming the attack in their Pashto groups saying that they targeted a known religious figure in Herat. No official claims from IS Central nor any details from the Interim Afghan Government as to who was targeted.

BREAKING: An attack on a Shia mosque, Imam Zaman mosque in Guzarah district of Herat province, Afghanistan resulted in at least 6 known casualties, local sources from the area said, there were conflicting reports on the number of attackers, but a prayer leader and women and children were killed in the incident.The Interim Afghan Government did not comment on the incident.
