Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram also serves as Director – Eurasian Region and China at Jiang Tonland International Holding (Beijing) Co., Ltd., where he contributes to strengthening the company’s international business engagement, developing strategic partnerships, and exploring investment opportunities across China, Pakistan, Central Asia, and the wider Eurasian region. In this capacity, he plays a role in facilitating cross-border business cooperation and promoting mutually beneficial economic partnerships.

During the meeting, discussions focused on strengthening business-to-business (B2B) cooperation between China and Pakistan, exploring new investment opportunities, and developing strategic partnerships between Chinese enterprises and Pakistani businesses. The participants exchanged views on promoting bilateral trade, facilitating cross-border business collaboration, and identifying commercially viable projects across sectors such as infrastructure, technology, logistics, industrial development, and investment.
The meeting also highlighted the importance of inviting Chinese companies and investors to Pakistan to explore emerging business opportunities, assess potential investment projects, and establish partnerships with Pakistani companies and relevant institutions. Mr. Akram emphasised the need to facilitate direct engagement between Chinese enterprises, Pakistani investors, and business communities to encourage joint ventures, attract foreign investment, and strengthen private-sector cooperation.
Furthermore, the discussions explored opportunities to organise B2B meetings, facilitate business delegations, and connect potential investors with project stakeholders in both countries. These efforts would enable Chinese companies to explore Pakistan’s investment potential while providing Pakistani businesses with opportunities to develop international partnerships, access advanced technologies, and expand their commercial networks.

The visit underscored the importance of strengthening China–Pakistan economic relations through investment facilitation, business networking, and strategic cooperation. Through these initiatives, Jiang Tonland International Holding (Beijing) Co., Ltd. aims to promote greater Chinese investment in Pakistan, encourage joint business ventures, and support sustainable economic development and regional connectivity.
