According to the details, Director General Safe City / Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Traffic Muhammad Haroon Joiya chaired an important meeting at the Safe City Office with a team from the Capital Development Authority (CDA). The meeting was attended by SSP Operations Safe City Captain (R) Hamza Humayun, Director IT Atif Abbas, and senior officials of the Capital Development Authority.During the meeting, various matters relating to reducing traffic violations and road traffic accidents across the city were discussed in detail. Key issues under consideration included fresh lane markings on major roads, the installation of traffic signboards, and the timely maintenance of traffic signals by the CDA.On this occasion, DG Safe City / DIG Traffic Muhammad Haroon Joiya stated that improving the quality of road infrastructure is essential for ensuring a safe and well-organized traffic system. He requested the CDA team to expedite the upgrading of lane markings and traffic signboards on the city’s major roads.The CDA team assured the Traffic Police of its full cooperation and stated that all necessary measures would be taken on a priority basis to facilitate citizens and ensure the smooth flow of traffic throughout the city.
