Islamabad (Urdu Times) IGP reviews security measures, joins officers for Iftar at G-14 checkpoint
Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, on Sunday visited checkpoint G-14, where he joined officers deployed on field duty for Iftar.He appreciated their alertness, discipline, and professional conduct, and issued necessary instructions to ensure the protection of citizens lives and property while remaining fully vigilant at all times.Earlier, on the occasion of Fajr prayer, the IGP Islamabad visited various masjids and imambargahs in the federal capital and personally reviewed the security arrangements in place.During the visits, he met with police officers and personnel performing their duties and commended their spirit of service and dedication.The IGP Islamabad directed senior officers to further enhance the effectiveness of security measures, emphasizing that the protection of citizens lives and property remains the top priority of Islamabad Police. He stressed that all officers and personnel must perform their responsibilities with utmost diligence, vigilance, and professionalism.He further instructed that strict action against criminal elements should continue without interruption and that officers must remain on high alert at all times. He reiterated, the Islamabad Police is utilizing all available resources to provide a safe and peaceful environment to citizens and is fully prepared to deal with any untoward situation.
