Rawalpindi (Urdu Times) A coordination meeting was held under the chairmanship of CPO Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera to control traffic accidents.The meeting was attended by the SSP Operations, Chief Traffic Officer, and officers from Traffic Police, Motorways Police, and PHP.It was directed that mutual coordination among all relevant agencies must be ensured to prevent fatal traffic accidents.Coordination among Traffic Police, Motorways Police, and PHP will help in controlling traffic accidents.Effective enforcement of traffic laws must be ensured on all highways without exception. Action against those driving vehicles and motorcycles without a driving licence should be intensified.Enforcement of seat-belt and helmet laws while driving must be ensured, and action should be taken against violators. Licences of public transport drivers should be specially checked. Fitness certificates of all vehicles, particularly public transport, should be checked, and legal action should be taken against those operating vehicles without a valid certificate.
