Islamabad (Urdu Times) KSrelief distributes 30,000 food packages across 28 districts in Pakistan

Islamabad, Friday, 28 February 2025 (Urdu Times): The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has successfully completed the first phase of its food distribution initiative in Pakistan, delivering 30,000 food packages to impoverished communities across 28 districts.

Aimed at supporting families living below the poverty line, each package weighs 95 kilograms and contains essential food items, including 80 kilograms of flour, 5 liters of cooking oil, 5 kilograms of sugar, and 5 kilograms of chickpeas.

The distribution was conducted under strict transparency measures, with oversight from KSrelief in collaboration with the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Provincial Disaster Management Authorities (PDMAs), district administrations, Hayat Foundation, and Peace and Development Organisation (PADO).

This initiative reflects KSrelief’s ongoing commitment to alleviating food insecurity in Pakistan and enhancing the well-being of vulnerable households.
