The day began with Quran recitation in mosques and prayers for Pakistan’s security. Scholars organized special prayers for the progress of Pakistan. Scholars said that May 28 is a very important day in the history of Pakistan, you Pakistan is stronger and more stable, the pride of the entire nation is higher than ever. Chashma Nuclear Power Plant Unit-5 under construction will generate 1,200 megawatts of electricity after completion. 4 agricultural centers are ensuring food security through 159 special varieties of crops. Nuclear Institute for Agriculture and Biology Faisalabad is producing naturally colored cotton. The announcement said that this institution has also been recognized as a supporting center of the International Atomic Energy Agency, PIAS University and other educational institutions are providing international standard education. Today, we have achieved strategic defense power. On May 28, we resolve to protect the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. We pay tribute to the scientists, engineers, civil and military leadership associated with the nuclear program. The President paid tribute to Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto for laying the foundation of Pakistan’s nuclear program and said that becoming a nuclear power was not just a manifestation of our technological progress. The acquisition of nuclear power was a wise decision to maintain peace through force. President Zardari said that in the changing regional security situation, our nuclear power is a credible minimum defense capability. Pakistan’s nuclear capability is a guarantee of peace.
