Karachi (Urdu Times)(Report pirbux Noonari)Sindh’s Provincial Secretary for Auqaf, Religious Affairs, Zakat, and Ushr, Javed Sibtullah Mehr, has emphasized that Sindh is the land of Sufi saints and mystics, who have always preached peace, love, and brotherhood. He stated that following the teachings of these revered figures is a collective responsibility, as their shrines are not only centers of spirituality but also valuable assets for society, he expressed these views while offering prayers at the shrine of the great Sufi saint, Hazrat Abdullah Shah As’habi.
During his visit, the provincial secretary inspected the newly constructed shelters within the shrine premises. Expressing displeasure over the slow pace of construction work on new guesthouses and rooms for visitors, he directed the concerned officials to expedite the completion of these facilities, including the repair of washrooms, to ensure better services for zaireens.
Later, Javed Sibtullah Mehr visited the Makhdoom Muhammad Hashim Thatvi Library in Makli to assess its condition. On this occasion, he instructed the Chief Administrator of Auqaf to initiate and complete the renovation and restoration work to make the library fully functional.
