He made these remarks during a meeting with prominent members of the Christian community, Arif James and Angela Arif James<\/p>\n
On this occasion, political and social leader Zia-ul-Haq also joined the Pakistan Awami Quwwat Party.<\/p>\n
Speaking at the meeting, Khawaja Khaqan Waheed further said <\/p>\n
We have spoken about protecting minority rights on every platform. Our party manifesto also fully supports all the rights granted to minorities, their religious freedom, and their due share in every field as defined by the Constitution. God willing, when we come into power, we will also implement this in practice<\/p>\n
On the occasion, the representative delegation of the Christian community appreciated the Pakistan Awami Quwwat Party\u2019s manifesto, narrative, ideology, and the public welfare work it has carried out so far, and assured their full support.<\/p>\n
