ISLAMABAD (Urdu Times): (PR: Dated November 21, 2025): The 17th meeting of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Board was held on Friday at the CDA Headquarters, chaired by Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa. The meeting was attended by CDA Board members including Member Admin and Estate Talat Mehmood, Member Planning and Design Dr. Khalid Hafiz, Member Engineering Syed Nafasat Raza, Member Environment Esfandyar Baloch along with other relevant officers. Several agenda items were discussed and decisions were made during the 17th meeting of the CDA Board.
According to details, the Planning Wing presented the matter of temporary stalls and kiosks in Islamabad to the CDA Board, in light of the High Court’s orders. The Planning Wing was directed to formulate and present a clear policy in this regard.
During the 17th CDA Board meeting, proposals for amendments to the Islamabad Land Disposal Regulations 2005 (ILDR) were also considered, in accordance with the directives of the sub-committee of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC). The meeting decided that a committee comprising all Director Generals of various Wings will be formed. This committee will identify and remove delays and obstacles in the process and procedures of different matters. The purpose of these measures is to expedite pending matters and ensure the elimination of unnecessary delays.
Regarding the issuance of the No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the Federal Employees Cooperative Housing Society, Jinnah Garden (Phase Two), the CDA Board decided to form a technical committee.
Chairman CDA said the purpose of this decision is to eliminate the sale and purchase of extra plots and files beyond the layout plan. He instructed that barcodes and watermarks be included on the allotment letters so that they can be verified.
