Islamabad (Urdu Times) Inspector General of Islamabad Police Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry reviewed the overall law and order situation in the city and the police’s field deployment. Senior police officers accompanied the IG.The IG met officers and personnel deployed on security duty and inspected the arrangements on the spot. Senior officers briefed the IG on the city’s security situation and police operations. In the context of the expected law-and-order scenario, the police’s operational preparedness and response mechanism were also reviewed.The IG directed officers to remain alert so that any attempt to disrupt peace can be dealt with effectively.
