Islamabad (Urdu Times) IGP Holds Orderly Room; Directs Timely Resolution of Police Officers Issues Islamabad: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry held an Orderly Room at the Central Police Office (CPO) Islamabad, where police officers and Officials presented their service-related and personal issues.The IGP Islamabad heard their concerns in detail and directed the concerned officers to take timely action in accordance with rules and regulations and ensure the resolution of their legitimate issues.Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry said that the timely resolution of the issues faced by police officers and Officials is an important part of departmental affairs. He directed the concerned officers to ensure that applications and departmental matters are not kept pending unnecessarily and that all matters are dealt with strictly on merit, transparently and in accordance with the prescribed rules.The IGP Islamabad said that police officers and Officials perform their duties around the clock to protect the lives and property of citizens; therefore, special attention must be given to the resolution of their legitimate concerns and their welfare. He also directed officers to listen to the issues of their subordinates and facilitate them while carrying out their responsibilities of public service.He further stated that serving and retired police officers may directly meet him regarding their concerns and departmental matters, adding that Islamabad Police would continue to ensure effective and direct access for its officers and Officials.
