Islamabad (Urdu Times) DIG Visits CTD, CIA; Directs Effective Strategy and Stronger Crackdown on Criminal Gangs،According to the details, Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Islamabad Ali Waseem visited the CTD Headquarters and CIA, where he received detailed briefings from the concerned officers on institutional affairs, overall performance, and ongoing operations against criminal elements.During his visit to the CTD Headquarters, SSP CTD Saud Khan briefed the DIG Islamabad in detail on the working of the CTD, professional affairs, and various initiatives. The DIG Islamabad issued necessary directions to CTD officers to further improve operations through an effective strategy, perform their professional responsibilities efficiently, and enhance their overall performance.During his visit to the CIA, the DIG Islamabad inspected the record room, lock-up, and various other sections. An introductory meeting was also held with In-charge CIA DSP Sulaiman Shah, In-charge Anti-Vehicle Lifting Unit, and investigating officers. The meeting included a detailed review of the overall performance of the CIA, investigation matters, and ongoing operations against criminal elements.The DIG Islamabad directed that an effective and result-oriented crackdown be carried out against active gangs involved in car and motorcycle theft and robbery. Lists of previously record-holding proclaimed offenders should be compiled and their arrests ensured. Effective action should also be taken against elements involved in the purchase and sale of stolen cars, motorcycles, and their parts.DIG Islamabad Ali Waseem further directed all officers to perform their duties with dedication, commitment, and honesty and to ensure the timely and effective provision of police services to citizens. He made it clear that departmental as well as legal action would be taken against officers found negligent, careless, or involved in corruption.
