Brussels (Urdu Times) National Day of Pakistan Celebrated with Patriotic Zeal at the Embassy of Pakistan, Brussels

Brussels, March 23, 2025 (Urdu Times)– The Embassy of Pakistan in Brussels commemorated Pakistan’s National Day with a solemn ceremony, reaffirming the nation’s steadfast commitment to the vision of its founding fathers and the enduring values enshrined in the Pakistan Resolution of 1940.

The event commenced with the hoisting of the national flag by Faraz Zaidi, Chargé d’Affaires, accompanied by the resonant rendition of the national anthem. Members of the Pakistani community from across Belgium and Luxembourg—including families, women, and children—participated with patriotic enthusiasm, celebrating the country’s journey of resilience, unity, and progress.

On this occasion, official messages from the President, the Prime Minister, and the Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister of Pakistan were read out. The leadership highlighted the historical significance of March 23rd, reaffirmed their dedication to unity, faith, and discipline, and urged the nation to remain committed to national development, democratic values, and social justice. They paid tribute to the sacrifices of the country’s founding fathers, martyrs, and heroes, and underlined the resolve to continue supporting the oppressed peoples of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and Palestine in their just struggles for self-determination.

In his address, Faraz Zaidi reflected on the enduring importance of the Lahore Resolution of 1940, which laid the foundation for the creation of Pakistan. He encouraged the community to uphold national unity and values, contribute positively to both Pakistan and the host society, and serve as proud representatives of their homeland abroad.

The ceremony concluded with prayers for the peace, prosperity, and stability of Pakistan. Attendees expressed their deep sense of patriotism and appreciation for the Embassy’s efforts in fostering a strong connection among the diaspora.

The observance of Pakistan Day in Brussels stood as a powerful reflection of the nation’s shared history, sacrifices, and the collective responsibility to work toward a more inclusive, resilient, and prosperous future for Pakistan.
